Qmobile A5 Classic

A friend of mine bought the Qmobile A5 Classic, it was suppose to be a cheap phone with enough features to get him past a month or so,
But
The reality was different, apart from the low resolution screen, which is HVGA and 4" of size.
The rest of the phone proved to be more than enough and it's worth.
It has nearly all the features of a full grown android phone but also packs in quite decent hardware.
Single core 1GHz ARM v7 cpu
Power VR SGX531 GPU
512MB ram with 4GB rom
Dual sim and a slot for micro sd card.
5megapixel camera with decent quality video shooting
1700mAh li-pol battery
And a rubberized back for extra grip
And last but not least, android 4.0

Only downside here is the low res screen and the fact that there will be no update, well for now. Qmobile has done a couple of OTA updates in the past. So fingers crossed.

MacBook pro and Ram

I recently bought a MacBook pro 15 base model. Which has a corei7 3rd gen quad core cpu 4gigs of 1600MHz Ram and a slow spinning 5400rpm 500gig hard drive.
After a month or so of using it I realized that a mac consumes a lot of ram, running idle it consumes about 2 gigs of Ram.
So I believe an upgrade is in order

A Restart

Hey, I was out for a very long time so I wasn't able to update the blog, but I have a brand new computer and I am ready to start again.

I'll try my best to keep the blog updated as I have to work during day hours.
